This page covers cedarwriter.com, the website you’re reading. The Cedar app has its own privacy policy, which covers your account and everything you write.
What we collect
We use PostHog to count visits and see how the site is used: which pages you view, which links and buttons you click, the page that sent you here, and your browser, device and approximate location. We don’t record your screen or sessions.
The site has no forms, so it doesn’t ask for your name or email address. Signing up happens in the app.
Cookies
The site doesn’t set cookies or store anything in your browser, so there’s no cookie banner. Analytics are held in memory for a single page visit only, so we can’t recognise you when you come back.
Who we share it with
- PostHog (PostHog Inc.) stores the analytics.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) hosts the site. Every request passes through Cloudflare’s network, including your IP address.
We don’t sell this data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Site analytics are kept for up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@cedarwriter.com. Because the site doesn’t identify visitors, we may not be able to find data about a particular visit.
Changes
If this page changes, we’ll update the date at the top.
